Parrots and Bathes

Birds need to bathe for health.
It is essential for healthy feathers and skin.
Their natural instinct to bathe will make it easy to establish a routine.
If you don’t bathe them or give them the opportunity to bathe they will make their own opportunity.
Small birds will bathe in their water dish if that is all they have for a bath.
Larger parrots will also try and bathe in their water dish if you don’t present them with other ways to bathe.
A large shallow bowl in the bottom of the cage, a misting with a water bottle or the most wonderful shower with you. All these ways will work to give your bird the bath they need.
Bathing, good food, and sunshine will make your birds feathers bright and beautiful.
